About Me

My name is James Hawkins, and I live just outside of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, and I am 27 years old. I have been tinkering with design since I took my first class (introduction to web design) as a freshman in high school. On and off through the years I would design simple graphics and websites until I attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and received an Associates Degree in Graphic Design in 2009. I have taken such classes as corporate identity, advertising design, digital illustration, typography, color theory, digital manipulation, as well as hands on classes such as drawing and painting, also countless others. I love to design and I enjoy every minute of it! I love to help people witness their dreams come true through my work.

As a graphic and web designer I offer web and print solutions. I am proficient in all of the major design programs: Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Fireworks, and Acrobat. I hand code most of my websites and I am proficient in HTML, and CSS as well. I create most of my work through vector graphics in Illustrator, and photo manipulation (or through various effects) in Photoshop. Please check my services pages to see all that I offer.
